More reactions to the trailer
"I found your trailer to be extremely intense, i even found it difficult tho walk through our own school without thinking i was being watched."- Nathan humphries - 18 years
We were very happy to learn that students found it hard to get over the trailer. The reason for the trailer was to make students feel uneasy in there own school and to possible make parents worry more about their children's whereabouts. We wanted children to feel like this because it is very common for horror films to make people feel very unsettled. Therefore having our trailer about a caretaker who kidnaps and kills children and aiming it at a young audience potential makes our film more popular.
We could improve our trailer by showing more disappearances of students. However maybe having the student be from the lower years of school. This then could expand on our target audience and make the audience feel more sorry for the victims involved because they are young.
"Personally, I think that the trailer could have more dialogue in because it would make it more interesting."- Tom Sheen-17 years
Having more dialogue in our trailer would improve it massively. However the only reason why we didn't put any more dialogue in after the teacher spoke because we wanted to show the silence killing of the villain and how the school stopped trying to look for them after a few killings had happened. The other reason for this was we wanted our audience to ask questions on why there isnt a lot of dialogue then resulting int hem watching the film.

Audience interviews
From these interviews we found that the audience that viewed the trailer generally favoured the torture and jump scare scenes. In particular the final jump scare at the end tended to be effective and also the torture scene with the water boarding also was favoured by the audience.
However, from these interviews we also found that the trailer was lacking in dialogue as the audience felt that this was a big part of the trailer that was missing. Another part of the trailer that the audience said needed improving was the colour as the trailer was lacking colour and this could have made the trailer a lot more appealing to the audience.

Another way that we got feedback was through the use of use of social media, we did this by posting the trailer onto facebook and asked for comments, we used social media due to how many people we could reach at one time.
